Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Head Registered Vet Nurse at our small animal practice in the City of Bristol area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including taking and processing blood samples, catheters, stitch ups, dental scale and polishes, x-rays, and monitoring anaesthetics.
  • Conduct nurse clinics and provide in-patient care.
  • Assist with surgical procedures and provide post-operative care.
  • Develop and implement nursing protocols and procedures to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with the veterinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • Qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse with a strong background in small animal nursing.
  • Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
