Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team in Duxford, UK. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing of indirect external spend, leading and developing suppliers, and building mutually beneficial relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the sourcing of indirect external spend for the EAP region.
  • Lead and develop suppliers, building mutually beneficial relationships to obtain maximum value.
  • Determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services.
  • Procure critical indirect materials and services to meet forecasts, production/maintenance requirements, and aggressive capital project schedules.
  • Act as an instrumental part in innovating, developing, and implementing leading procurement category strategies.
  • Lead complex negotiations and represent Sourcing in specific site-level negotiations.
  • Continuously improve costs and terms of purchase, leading in the development and deployment of standard sourcing processes.

Requirements

  • University Degree in science, engineering, economics, or business preferred.
  • Experience in purchasing, finance, supply chain, or sourcing.
  • Leadership qualities, dynamic, and self-motivated.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrix organization.
  • ERP system experience in the finance and/or procurement/supply chain area (Microsoft platforms, SAP, etc).
