Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Manager to join our team in Duxford, UK. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the sourcing of indirect external spend, leading and developing suppliers, and building mutually beneficial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the sourcing of indirect external spend for the EAP region.
- Lead and develop suppliers, building mutually beneficial relationships to obtain maximum value.
- Determine best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services.
- Procure critical indirect materials and services to meet forecasts, production/maintenance requirements, and aggressive capital project schedules.
- Act as an instrumental part in innovating, developing, and implementing leading procurement category strategies.
- Lead complex negotiations and represent Sourcing in specific site-level negotiations.
- Continuously improve costs and terms of purchase, leading in the development and deployment of standard sourcing processes.
Requirements
- University Degree in science, engineering, economics, or business preferred.
- Experience in purchasing, finance, supply chain, or sourcing.
- Leadership qualities, dynamic, and self-motivated.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrix organization.
- ERP system experience in the finance and/or procurement/supply chain area (Microsoft platforms, SAP, etc).
