Job Summary

Consilium Group Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for the industrialisation and successful launch of new products, as well as the improvement and development of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production plans and strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Lead the specification, installation, and launch of new production assembly lines, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and improve production capabilities, including current and new products.
  • Optimise production processes to improve key manufacturing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Conduct data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to support business growth.
  • Identify and mitigate potential quality risks using the Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) process.
  • Develop and maintain Assembly Line documentation, including production sequences, work instructions, and tooling.
  • Drive process innovation throughout all manufacturing operations, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, with a strong background in developing production processes and successful new product introduction.
  • Previous experience in project managing equipment installations, with a focus on industrialisation and launch.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritise under pressure, and motivate team members.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in a manufacturing environment.
