Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled MEICA Site Manager to join our client's team for an exciting permanent opportunity in the water industry. This role offers a competitive salary between £55,000 - £65,000 and is fully site-based.

The successful candidate will manage and oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring project objectives are met with regard to time, cost, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure full compliance with company procedures, work instructions, and guide notes, particularly concerning quality assurance, health & safety, and environmental management systems.
  • Supervise and manage all sub-contractors to ensure efficient project delivery within agreed timeframes, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all sub-contractors, facilitating effective communication and management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the maintenance of site accommodation and facilities, ensuring they meet high standards, and ensure safe and proper storage of all materials.
  • Produce and distribute daily site records in line with company procedures, and report progress against the agreed project schedule, highlighting any potential delays.
  • Act as the designated environmental representative on site, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Formal engineering qualification in a relevant discipline (minimum HNC or equivalent preferred).
  • CSCS Managers Card.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or IOSH Managing Safely in Construction.
  • Demonstrated experience in a MEICA site management role, ideally within the water or construction sectors.
