About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Corecruitment. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for delivering commercial analysis and insights, financial reporting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Analysis: Provide key analysis for all relevant stakeholders, including business development teams and senior management.
- Financial Support: Provide financial support for new business opportunities, including bid and tender submissions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with business development and other key internal stakeholders to understand proposed solutions and model financial workbooks accordingly.
- Pricing Assumptions: Document pricing assumptions for internal sign-off and client submission.
- Communication: Communicate agendas and timeframes to ensure relevant approval before submissions.
- Support: Support the business development team with weekly investment meetings and provide financial analysis to inform business decisions.
- Strategy: Support the Head of Sales in strategy-setting, decision-making, and all matters related to the commercial side of our business development approach.
- Workbook Models: Update and improve sales workbook models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Target Pricing: Set and validate target pricing benchmarks and maintain knowledge of benchmarking prices, including price-to-win analysis.
- Client-Facing Returns: Produce final client-facing financial returns.
- Costing and Pricing Efficiency: Contribute to improving costing and pricing efficiency.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Must be qualified in a relevant field.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities coupled with successful business partnering.
- Influencing Stakeholders: Demonstratable experience of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Finance Experience: Held previous commercial finance roles.
- Bidding Environment: Preferably worked in a bidding environment or possibly worked in roles that are more commercial than finance.
- Excel Skills: Excellent Excel skills with a good eye for detail.
