We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Biology Educator to join our Science Faculty at Broughton High School. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to deliver engaging and challenging lessons to our students, and contribute to the development of our Science curriculum.

About the Role

This is a fixed-term position until 27/06, and we are looking for an individual who is able to plan and deliver flexible programs of learning that meet the specific needs of all learners. You will be responsible for teaching Biology at N4, N5, and Higher levels, and will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Develop and implement engaging and challenging lesson plans
  • Assess and provide feedback to students
  • Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Desired Qualities

  • Experience of delivering Biology lessons at N4, N5, and Higher levels
  • Interest in and concern for others (staff and students)
  • Good understanding of self and interpersonal relationships
  • Imagination and creativity
  • Energy and a positive attitude
  • Cheerful with a sense of humour
