Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Assistant Manager to join our Commercial Operations team at Frasers Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving all commercial areas, facilitating exceptional member experiences, and delivering high standards across the gym.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Operations: Lead the team in all sales and operational processes, with a keen eye for detail and ability to drive results.
- Member Experience: Ensure that every member visit is enhanced, and that our elevated ways of working are consistently delivered.
- Revenue Growth: Drive all revenue lines from membership sales to product and secondary sales, to drive overall profitability of the gym.
- Cost Management: Effectively manage controllable costs such as stock orders and cleaning supplies to eliminate wastage and overspend.
- Team Leadership: Lead by example on reception and the gym floor, and ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly operational processes are completed consistently and to a high standard.
- Recruitment and Training: Lead the recruiting, monitoring, training, and onboarding of new team members within your gym.
- Communication and Feedback: Deliver honest, constructive feedback regularly to support all team members in achieving their potential and challenging them daily.
- Facilities and Maintenance: Report facilities and maintenance-related issues in accordance with best practice guidelines.
- Health and Safety: Ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times, and manage all policies and procedures including Health and Safety.
Requirements:

- Leadership Qualities: Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to adapt communication and management style depending on the team member and their drivers.

- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a member champion mentality and a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviors and competencies specific to the role.
- Flexibility: Flexibility in working hours and location to support the needs of the business, including weekends and Bank Holidays when required.
