Job Title: Residential Property Buyer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Residential Property Buyer to join our team at House Of Fashion Associates. As a key member of our global residential property business, you will be responsible for procuring and sourcing materials, finish fixtures, and other construction-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop residential projects and select product, room plans, and models under the guidance of the senior team.
  2. Support in the development of conceptual designs and presentations.
  3. Participate in design meetings offering input and product solutions.
  4. Ensure design compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and environmental considerations.
  5. Procure and work closely with company suppliers to source materials, finish fixtures, and other construction-related projects.
  6. Research suppliers and vendors to identify cost-effective, sustainable, and high-quality materials.
  7. Prepare buying schedules, RFQs, and purchase orders.
  8. Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  9. Support in negotiating contracts, pricing, and delivery terms in line with the project budget.
  10. Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth execution of design and construction process.
  11. Monitor and assist in resolving design and company challenges.
  12. Support the project management team in maintaining project timelines and ensuring milestones are met.
  13. Document and track project changes, schedule, and procurement-related expenses.
  14. Work closely with internal teams, including Project Managers, the company CEO, and consultants to deliver cohesive projects.
  15. Communicate with external stakeholders, such as contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies, to facilitate project approvals and smooth execution.
  16. Assist in preparing presentations and reports for stakeholders, outlining project updates, procurement status, and design modifications.
  17. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement, supplier communications, and project progress.
  18. Assist in preparing reports, budget, and procurement summaries for internal views and management meetings.
  19. Ensure proper documentation of design revisions, material selection, and project approvals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in design, buying, or property, preferably with exposure to procurement and operations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team.
