Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at TPF Recruitment. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and general accounting responsibilities for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Client Accounts Engagements: Plan, direct, and complete client accounts engagements, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Supervise Juniors: Mentor and guide junior accountants to ensure they meet the required standards and deadlines.
  • Financial Analysis: Research and analyze financial statements, producing statutory accounts and draft tax computations.
  • Client Communication: Proactively interact with clients to gather information, resolve issues, and provide recommendations for business and process improvements.
  • Project Management: Monitor the progress of jobs to ensure budgets are met and deadlines are achieved.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified with a demonstrable track record of accounting experience in a practice environment.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards, corporation tax, VAT, and P11Ds.
  • Professional Standards: Ability to perform to a high technical and professional standard.
