Job Summary

C&E Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join the kitchen brigade in a stunning Michelin-starred restaurant in Jersey. As a key member of the team, you will assist in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are always maintained.

The Role

The successful candidate will have solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at a Michelin-starred or multi-AA Rosette level. You will be confident in running a section and helping with other duties, mentoring junior chefs in their tasks. A true passion for food and enthusiasm for learning are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and service of food to the highest standards
  • Run a section of the kitchen and help with other duties as required
  • Mentor junior chefs in their tasks and provide guidance and support
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritization
  • Have a thorough understanding of health and safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen

Requirements

  • Solid experience in a fresh food kitchen, ideally at a Michelin-starred or multi-AA Rosette level
  • Confidence in running a section and helping with other duties
  • A true passion for food and enthusiasm for learning
  • High standards of cleanliness, stock control, and work prioritization
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety and food safety guidelines within the kitchen
