About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team at Rise Resourcing. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for implementing and managing the multi-channel merchandising strategy for your own product area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a customer-centric category range strategy
- Manage the category budget and ensure accurate forecasting of demand, OTB, returns, and margin
- Build relationships with internal teams to continuously develop and optimize product lines
- Monitor market and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition
Working with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Collaborate with warehousing, shipping, finance, and sales teams to optimize sales and margin
- Work closely with internal teams to improve product forecasting and sales performance
- Contribute to supplier review processes and highlight stock management issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail merchandising is essential
- Good level of education is required
- Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel
