About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Account Handler to join our established team at Cavendish Maine Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our diverse and interesting group of public sector and government clients.

The successful candidate will work closely with our Account Executives to provide a comprehensive insurance service to our clients, ranging from smaller clients to large corporate sized risks. You will be responsible for ensuring all documentation associated with placing, amending, or renewing clients' insurance programmes is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

We are looking for someone with previous account handling experience gained within a commercial insurance environment and relevant insurance technical knowledge. You will have excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and assimilate large quantities of information quickly.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Previous account handling experience in a commercial insurance environment
  • Relevant insurance technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
