Job Title: Shift Leader

Baltic Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and physically fit individual to fill the role of Shift Leader for our client in West Auckland.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate the glass grinding and furnace plant with precision and attention to detail.
  • Ensure the quality of grains and furnace meets the highest standards.
  • Perform pre-use checks on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Take full control of the site during out-of-office hours.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
  • Organize team members to meet the needs of the plant.
  • Complete daily furnace reports and correct material recipes as needed.
  • Focus on furnace efficiency and quality, and complete glass gradation checks.
  • Carry out rotex maintenance and prepare regular handovers with other Shift Leaders.
