Job Summary:

Briggs Equipment is seeking a skilled Forklift Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Identify and address any issues or defects on forklifts, and ensure that all necessary repairs are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their maintenance needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of maintenance activities, including job documentation and customer communication.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all forklifts are properly maintained and serviced, and that all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary up to £34,232 per annum, based on a 40-hour working week.
  • Overtime is payable at 1.5 times the normal rate, Monday to Saturday, and 2 times the normal rate on Sunday.
  • A contributory pension scheme with employer contributions up to 6%.
