Medical Devices - Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Medical Devices team in Cambridge. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of life-saving Medical Devices.

Working closely with our team of industry experts, including electronics design engineers, software engineers, physicists, and other Medical Devices specialists, you will tackle complex challenges in the development of new Medical Technologies.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing new Medical Devices throughout the entire design life cycle, adhering to ISO 13485 standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements
  • Utilizing 3D CAD tools, primarily SolidWorks, to create detailed designs and models
  • Applying expertise in fluidics, mechanism design, thermal issues, FEA, and other intricate applications to drive innovation
