Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Toyota Cheltenham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the preparation of new and used vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles to ensure they meet Toyota's quality standards.
  • Perform mechanical repairs on new and used vehicles to Toyota's standards, including the fitting of accessories and routine servicing and maintenance.
  • Visually inspect the exterior and interior of vehicles to identify any defects or issues.
  • Report any defects or issues to the relevant teams, ensuring that all necessary repairs are completed before delivery to customers.
  • Complete any associated paperwork prior to delivery to customers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.

About You

  • You will have prior experience working in the automotive sector as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, HGV Mechanic, or similar role.
  • You will hold or be working towards completion of your NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
  • An Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
  • You will have a full UK driving license and be able to demonstrate good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
