Critical Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Cleveland Clinic London. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the development of our ICU department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care, including those with invasive lines, mechanical ventilation, and vasoactive intravenous medications.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
- Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
- Develop and implement care plans, prioritize tasks, and make decisions to ensure patient safety and well-being.
- Current nursing registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and no restrictions to practice.
- Experience working in critical care specialties, including cardiac and cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, renal, and GI surgery.
- Completed 60 credits Adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Course or equivalent and Step 1 Critical Care Competencies Course.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and make decisions under pressure.
