About the School

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to support children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Our school is committed to providing a nurturing environment for all students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs.

About the Role

As an SEN-TA, you will work closely with teachers and other staff members to support the learning and development of students with ASD. Your role will involve ensuring they can access the curriculum, build social skills, and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to develop individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students with ASD can access the curriculum
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students with ASD
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students with ASD
Requirements
  • Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
