Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Management Director to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that our buildings and equipment are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Maintenance Team: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained.
  3. Coordinate with Contractors: Work with external contractors to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed to a high standard.
  4. Monitor and Report Maintenance Activities: Track and record all maintenance activities, including work orders, maintenance schedules, and equipment performance.
  5. Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, including facilities, engineering, and operations, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Trade Background: A trade background in a mechanical or electrical discipline is essential.
  2. Experience in Facilities Management: A minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in the mechanical sector.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical or electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  4. Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  5. Problem-Solving and Organizational Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
