Job Summary

Manchester Airport PLC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Aviation Security Officer to join our team. As an Aviation Security Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our passengers and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough searches of passengers and their belongings using high-tech security equipment.
  • Patrol airport premises to maintain a visible security presence and deter potential threats.
  • Operate X-Ray machines and body scanners to screen passengers and their luggage.
  • Verify staff ID cards and passenger boarding cards to ensure access to secure areas.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support airport operations.
Requirements
  • Passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
