The Global Engineering & Manufacturing Team of our manufacturing client based in Crewe is seeking a Hydrogen Project Engineer to join their team.

This is a contract role. Our client has been helping their customers to become more productive, energy efficient, and sustainable for over 70 years.

They supply creative solutions to energy, environmental, and emerging markets around the world. They are at a first mover advantage stage with numerous hydrogen and similar renewable projects across Europe and beyond. They are developing the Hydrogen corridor, a project recognized to reduce carbon emissions through using greener fuels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project execution of compact on-site Nitrogen, Oxygen, and Hydrogen generators.
  • Managing equipment supply projects from initial design through procurement, manufacture, inspection, testing, to delivery, construction, and commissioning.
  • Managing several projects simultaneously, ensuring equipment and materials are procured and received on schedule.
  • Engaging with suppliers and fabricators, inspecting and testing equipment, compiling and checking drawings and documentation.
  • Ensuring that projects meet agreed budget, schedule, safety, and performance targets, and comply with all applicable legislation.

Requirements:
  • Good all-round appreciation of the various engineering disciplines: Process, mechanical, E&I, and electrical.
  • Good English language communication skills.
  • Willingness to commit time and effort to achieve project goals.
  • Ideally experience in Industrial Gases, Gas Generation, or equipment manufacture.

This is a contract role.
