About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team at Halfords, the UK's leading retailer of motoring and cycling products and services. As an MOT Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of vehicles on the road.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough MOT tests on light vehicles, identifying any defects or issues that require attention.
  • Work closely with our team of skilled technicians and fitters to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of light vehicles, when not performing MOT tests.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £36,000 - £38,000 (pro rata) + bonus £5,800 per year (based on average, uncapped 'potential to earn more')
  • 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, with voluntary Saturdays paid time and a half
  • 5.6 weeks' annual leave

Requirements
  • Current MOT Testing Licence
  • Must have a full drivers licence with less than 9 points
  • Team player willing to assist in workshop carrying out light vehicle maintenance, when not performing MOT's
