Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Paramedic Practitioner to join our multi-disciplinary team in the Western Isles. The successful candidate will work as part of our first response team, providing urgent and unscheduled care to the community. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the delivery of rural healthcare in a unique and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a variety of settings, including primary care homes, hospitals, and community locations.
  • Work collaboratively with a range of healthcare professionals, including GPs, nurses, and specialist clinicians.
  • Contribute to the development of primary care and acute services in the Western Isles.
  • Support clinical colleagues, including medical, nursing, mental health, and Scottish Ambulance Service colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate diploma in Advanced Practice.
  • Experience working in urgent and unscheduled care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
