Laboratory Analyst

ALS Laboratories is seeking a skilled Laboratory Analyst to support their Cryptosporidium department at ALS Coventry. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow procedures effectively and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Understand customer requirements and ensure samples are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Deliver on key performance indicators and report analytical data.
- Participate in the Taste and Odour panel on a rotational basis following screening.
- Assist team members to achieve work objectives and ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures.
About the Role:
- This is a full-time and permanent position with a salary of £22,549.
- The working hours are 37 hours per week, from Tuesday to Saturday, 07:30 – 15:30.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their career in an international company and provide excellent service to clients.
Requirements:
- Qualifications required are 5 GCSEs at Grade C (equivalent to new Grade 4) or above to include Science, Maths and English and an A level or equivalent in a scientific subject.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with a willingness to learn and improve skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
- Computer literate and able to plan and organise own work area.
