Academic Support Professional - Academics

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to provide academic support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at our well-resourced primary school.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our students and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

As an Academic Support Professional, you will work closely with our teaching staff to provide tailored support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEN, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring that students with SEN are fully integrated into the classroom
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with SEN, including behavior management and communication techniques
  • Collaborating with other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in supporting students with SEN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
