Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring a class of students, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and assessing student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to students in Year 6
- Assess and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness
- Develop and implement strategies to support student learning and achievement
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Experience of teaching in a primary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
