Facilities Management Technician

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Tradesperson to join our Facilities team at the University of Salford. As a key member of our estates and property services division, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, gas, and water services across our estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, gas, and water services
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks and respond to queries
- Provide exceptional customer care and communication skills
- Work flexible hours, including early starts, late finishes, and occasional weekends
About Estates and Property Services
Our estates and facilities services directorate is responsible for delivering a full estates and facilities management service to the University. This includes property maintenance, planned maintenance and renovation, cleaning, security, caretaking, and facilitating spaces for our staff and students.
