Year 2 Teacher Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team as a Year 2 Teacher in a primary school setting. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour in a positive and constructive way.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students to break down barriers to learning.
- Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to support student progress and well-being.
- Experience working with children with ADHD, SEMH needs, or those displaying challenging behaviour is essential.
- Patience, resilience, and a passion for helping students overcome their difficulties.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
- Ability to think creatively to engage students in learning and help them achieve their potential.
- A calm and compassionate approach, with the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.
