You will work closely with our team of experts to ensure that all statutory and internal obligations are met, while also contributing to our sector-leading environmental and sustainability ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a specialist area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination and monitoring of contractor and internal environmental and consenting compliance
  • Work closely with experts to ensure that all statutory and internal obligations are met
  • Contribute to our sector-leading environmental and sustainability ambitions
  • Develop skills and knowledge in a specialist area
Requirements

We are looking for a graduate with a minimum of a 2:2 bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Geography, Town Planning, Environmental Science, Ecology, Environmental Management, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Biodiversity Net Gain, Environmental Restoration, Natural Sciences, Biology, Law, Zoology or PR and Communications.

You should have some practical work experience that reflects your passion for the energy sector, as well as demonstrable experience of working in a team.

You will also be comfortable working to and setting stretching individual targets, using your own initiative to overcome challenges, and have a genuine interest in SSEN Transmission and the prospect of a long-term future with us.
