Job Title: Night Shift Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining commercial vehicles and trailers to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a range of HGVs and trailers to VOSA standard
  • Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
  • Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or at customers' premises
  • Liaise with the parts department to obtain parts
  • Ensure all work is completed to high standards of safety and quality
  • Ensure accurate completion of job cards and service sheets
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
  • Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses
Requirements:
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements
  • Ability to actively seek solutions to problems
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles
