We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Multistaff Recruitment Solutions Ltd in the Plastic Moulding Industry.

This is a permanent position with the possibility of a trial period. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including afternoons.

Duties:

  • Manual handling of large plastic moulds weighing up to 20kg - 70kg
  • Loading and unloading moulds into Mac3 mould machines
  • Changing mould plates using hand tools
  • Trimming excess plastic from completed moulds
  • Inspecting moulds for defects
  • Using a glue gun
  • Reporting any production issues to the Supervisor
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude and experience
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
  • Background experience with hand tools
  • Knowledge of operating CNC machines
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and competently

Working Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 13:45 - 21:45
  • Friday: 11:15 - 16:45

Rate of Pay:

  • £12.10 per hour
  • Overtime rates: Saturday £18.15, Sunday £24.20 per hour
