About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our client's senior management team within their manufacturing facility in the UK. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Maintain Processes: Develop and maintain processes and practices in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 principles to ensure a safe and sustainable work environment.
- Risk Management: Work with management across the site to identify, prioritize, and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct root cause analysis following accidents and near misses to identify areas for improvement.
- Environmental Targets: Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to achieve environmental targets, including carbon footprinting, carbon and energy reduction.
- Documentation: Maintain and update all associated documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience: NEBOSH certification, knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 gained within a food-related industry. Strong project management and systems management skills.
Working Arrangements: Full-time permanent position, site-based. Excellent salary and benefits package. Working Monday to Friday, no shifts.
