Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

A leading construction consultancy is seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their Gloucester office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work on a diverse range of projects, develop their skills, and progress their career.

The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be part of a thriving team working on projects across the public and private sectors. You will have the opportunity to engage in projects with varying budgets, from tens of thousands to multi-million-pound schemes, offering a stimulating and challenging workload.

The consultancy places a strong emphasis on professional development, offering full support for those working towards Chartership through their internal APC program. You will also benefit from tailored in-house training and have the opportunity to pursue further education qualifications within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

With a clear path for progression to Senior Quantity Surveyor, this role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a company that values your development and success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Work on a diverse range of projects across the public and private sectors.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  3. Manage and control project costs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  4. Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Support the development of junior team members.
Requirements
  1. A construction-related degree qualification (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying).
  2. Previous Quantity Surveying experience within a UK construction consultancy.
  3. Experience working on Social Housing projects.
  4. Experience working in an Employers Agent role.
  5. MRICS is highly desirable or someone in need of support to achieve Chartership.
