Pure Resourcing Solutions is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for managing our credit control function and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Main Responsibilities:- Customer Credit Limit Management: Review, monitor, and approve customer credit limits in line with our company's credit control policy.
- Debt Collection: Review customer accounts to be put on 'stop' in line with our company's credit control policy.
- Credit Card Merchant Facilities: Administer credit card merchant facilities and ensure seamless payment processing.
- Relationship Building: Establish close relationships with colleagues and customers, particularly major clients, to proactively resolve problems and queries before invoices fall due for payment.
- Financial Reporting: Provide aged debt reports and regular updates to senior management with commentary.
- Debt Collection Strategies: Provide senior management with guidance on appropriate legal debt collection options, liaising with solicitors and proceeding with collections through agencies and courts.
- Cash Flow Management: Create cash flow forecasts to show expected receipts and maintain clear ledgers to ensure over/underpayments are resolved and cash is allocated correctly.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, transfer calls, and resolve customer and supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Month-End Process: Support the month-end process, ensuring all cash is posted by the close of period.
