Job Title: Technical Manager - HVAC Systems

About the Role:

The Technical Manager - HVAC Systems will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical design and application assistance to customers and internal staff members
  • Offering technical advice and support with queries as required
  • Assisting the sales team with detail quotations and project-specific information
  • Keeping up-to-date with the technicalities of the full product range
  • Liaising with Regional Sales Manager and National Technical Manager on new product development, design changes, and service
  • Managing the project database, maintaining standards and effectiveness of quotations
  • Conducting training presentations to AC contractors and specifying consultants
  • Increasing the quality and effectiveness of the design team, regularly monitoring service levels
About You:

We are seeking a Technical Manager - HVAC Systems with:

  • Design/Application experience within the HVAC market sector
  • Sound technical understanding of air conditioning, heat pump, ancillaries, and refrigeration systems
  • People management/team leader experience
  • Ideal experience with Kerridge K8 ERP software
  • Ideal qualifications in Air Conditioning or Refrigeration (City & Guilds) and Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, both written and verbal
  • High levels of organisation and ambition to build a career
