About the Role

Viberoptix Ltd is a leading telecommunications company, delivering frontline services to fibre network providers across the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking a skilled Fibre Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Fibre Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of fibre infrastructure to current PIA standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and fault find on fibre network infrastructures
  • Troubleshoot individual and wider network issues
  • Fusion splicing
  • OTDR use
  • Adherence to all health and safety practices
  • Correct use of equipment and procedures
  • Maintain all tools, equipment, and vehicles to a high standard
Requirements
  • Organised and proactive approach to work
  • Good, positive attitude to work
