Company Overview: Leonardo is excited to present a rewarding opportunity for a Lead Quality Assurance Specialist within our Servicing and Support division, specifically in Advanced Targeting. This division is integral to the maintenance and support of our cutting-edge radar, laser, and infrared countermeasure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and support on all matters related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
  • Assist the Principal Product Assurance Engineer in achieving objectives that meet or surpass established targets.
  • Actively participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) efforts to ensure timely delivery of compliant products while adhering to all cost and safety standards.
  • Contribute to the development of Project Assurance Plans (PAP) that outline necessary assurance activities.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the Assurance function's processes.
  • Mentor team members to foster a culture of Quality excellence throughout the program.
  • Engage in and contribute to significant meetings.
  • Oversee the proper processing of concessions and production permits.
  • Effectively manage investigations into root causes and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced education and experience in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing fields.
  • Proven knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001 standards, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Quality Tools and practical experience in their application.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Demonstrated experience in engaging with Customers and Suppliers.
  • Experience in a high-precision manufacturing setting.
