About the Role

Potts Print (UK) is seeking a skilled Print Finishing Specialist to join our Operations Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of print finishing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Set up and operate a variety of print finishing equipment, including die cutters, carton gluers, folders, booklet makers, and guillotines.
  • Quality Control: Monitor machine operation to ensure the quality of finished products and inspect finished items for accuracy and conformity to specifications.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime, and troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the finishing process.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate with other departments during the production process and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals.
  • Health and Safety: Adhere to the Company's Quality, Health and Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Policies and Procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: Essential experience operating print finishing equipment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including the ability to operate print finishing equipment effectively.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of maintaining health and safety, quality, and hygiene controls within a manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week on a flexible shift rotation. A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.
