Draughtsman and Mechanical Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Draughtsman and Mechanical Team Lead to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Draughtsmen Engineers and overseeing technical documentation to support engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of Draughtsmen Engineers, overseeing technical documentation and tasks.
- Deliver technical documentation to support engineering solutions, including drawings, models, and other technical outputs.
- Establish and maintain configuration control of existing and new data, in line with Configuration Management requirements.
- Ensure technical data pack output meets quality requirements through correct engineering and mechanical drawing disciplines.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, or experience within engineering.
- Expertise in drawing standards, engineering and quality standards, and the application of geometric tolerances.
- Expertise in 3D and 2D CAD modelling, assembly, and drawing.
- Working knowledge of technical office processes and standards.
