Are you an enthusiastic and creative Welsh Language Instructor dedicated to empowering adult learners? Join our esteemed Languages department at City Lit, recognized for excellence in education, and contribute to enriching lives through language acquisition.

Our department offers a diverse range of courses in over 30 modern and ancient languages, including Welsh, tailored for all proficiency levels, from novice to advanced. We provide both online and in-person classes, accommodating various schedules, including daytime, evening, and weekend sessions. This position is crucial in helping learners enhance their Welsh language abilities and engage in meaningful communication.

We are currently looking for Welsh Language Instructors for the following opportunities:

  • Welsh Beginners: Module 1, 11 weeks x 1.5 hours, face-to-face evening classes or Saturday sessions (specific details to be discussed during the interview based on availability). This is a fixed-term role with potential continuation.
  • Welsh Beginners: Modules 1/2/3, 11 weeks each, 1.5 hours per week, online evening classes (specific details to be discussed during the interview based on availability). This is an ongoing, permanent position.
  • Welsh Level 2 Upper: Modules 1/2/3, 11 weeks each, Mondays 18:30 – 20:00, online classes. The first module commences in the upcoming academic year, and this is a fixed-term opportunity.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proficient in verbal and written Welsh, with fluent conversational skills.
