Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at Pertemps Network Group. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers in the Armagh area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting and Collecting Post/Parcels: You will start your day in the local delivery office sorting and collecting post/parcels to be delivered.
  • Customer Service: You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis, capturing signatures for deliveries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands: The role will be physically demanding, requiring you to walk at least 8 miles per day and carry a bag that can weigh up to 16kg.
  • Driving and On Foot Delivery: You will be required to drive and deliver mail and parcels on foot, using a hand-held device to navigate your route.

Key Skills:

  • Valid UK Driving License: You must hold a valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Previous Delivery Experience: Previous delivery or driving experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Time Management and Organisation: You must have excellent time management and organisational skills to manage your route and deliver mail and parcels efficiently.
  • Communication and Customer Service: You must have strong communication and customer service abilities to interact with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Safe and Responsible Driving Practices: You must have a commitment to safe and responsible driving practices.
  • Working in All Weather Conditions: You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
