About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Support Analysis Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies that ensure the reliability and efficiency of our rail systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influence the design for integration of maintainability constraints, including requirements for predictive maintenance and consideration of all aspects to be considered to achieve services readiness in the design of equipment.
  • Manage and execute LSA activities to deliver quality, cost, and delivery commitments in coordination with the ISR management plan.
  • Identify LCC performance in compliance with DFS targets.
  • Define maintenance plans and design of LSA elements, including MTA, LCC, LORA, and RCM.
  • Define spare part allocation.
  • Capitalise data in central ISR repository (ILS PDM).
  • Write LSA management plan.
  • Ensure technical interfaces with RS, Components, Signaling, and Infra teams.
  • Ensure DFS is correctly applied on Sub System (Component Site).
  • Ensure REX is collected and considered.
  • Manage Definition of Logistic Breakdown Structure (LBS) in consistency with Design Engineering BOM definition.
  • Elaborate maintenance plans.
  • Elaborate LCC calculations and analysis.
  • Manage relationship with procurement for ISR requirements.
  • Ensure LSA database (ILS PDM) is defined and completed correctly.
  • Ensure compliance between Spar Part consumption model and maintenance strategy.
  • Validate content of technical maintenance documentation.
  • Promote usage of standard ISR practice compliant with international standards or Alstom central procedures and methods.
  • Captialise data to improve QCD on future projects.

About You

  • Experience in the development of maintenance strategies and methods.
  • Strong experience in a previous similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK rolling stock maintenance - nice to have.
  • Experience in maintenance execution.
  • Experience in Design for Serviceability & LSA engineering - desirable.
  • Competencies & Skills:
    • English fluent - good level.
    • People management.
    • Standard knowledge of main LSA elements (RAMS, LORA, RCM, LCC).
    • Communication skills.
    • Technically competent.
    • Solid decision-making and critical thinking.
    • Attention to detail.
