About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our security team as a Handyperson Escort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for escorting and overseeing contractors performing maintenance work within the prison estate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Escort contractors and ensure their safety and security
  • Conduct identification checks and searches of visitors
  • Operate radio communication systems
  • Perform routine administrative tasks
  • Conduct tool checks and searches of buildings
  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or background is desirable
  • Previous experience with handy work is desirable
  • Strong safety awareness and record
  • Residency in the UK for at least 3 years
