About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Project Worker to join our team at Magdalene Court in Glastonbury. As a Project Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who have experienced homelessness to achieve their full potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to customers, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives
  • Assess customer needs and develop tailored support plans to promote independence and wellbeing
  • Act as a first point of contact for customer queries, providing timely and effective solutions
  • Build strong relationships with customers, respecting their autonomy and dignity
  • Liaise with external agencies to enhance customer confidence, health, and wellbeing, and promote opportunities for education and employment
  • Respond to emergency situations with a calm and professional approach
  • Maintain accurate and high-quality records of customer interactions and progress
  • Travel is an essential aspect of this role, requiring a full valid driving licence
Requirements
  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
  • Strong organisational skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and targets
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards
