Contract: Permanent, full-time.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a significant Government construction project that will enhance the local community. Your primary focus will be to facilitate the secure execution of construction operations on-site.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Guiding and managing subcontractor teams under the project manager's supervision to ensure safe delivery of work packages,
  • Evaluating subcontractor work to ensure compliance with project timelines, design specifications, and quality benchmarks,
  • Assessing Risk Assessments and Method Statements from subcontractors to confirm that proposed working methods are safe and suitable,
  • Conducting toolbox talks and site inductions to guarantee adherence to Kier standards,
  • Coordinating site logistics, including the movement of equipment and personnel to and from the site while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications:

This position is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A relevant Construction Qualification (HND/ Degree / SVQ) or Technical Trade or equivalent,
  • SMSTS 5 Day Certification,
  • CSCS Card,
  • First Aid certification.
