Leadership Opportunity in Social Care

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Branch Leader covering Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire. This is a full-time, permanent position with Cornerstone, one of Scotland's largest charities.

About the Role

As a Branch Leader, you will be responsible for managing a local health and social care business, branch, or division. You will need to have a strong understanding of empowerment and coaching versus management and supervision, as well as experience of developing an empowered workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience of working in health and social care
  • Experience of running a local health and social care business, branch, or division
  • Understanding of empowerment and coaching versus management and supervision
  • Understanding of developing an empowered workforce
  • Sound business skills such as planning, tender writing, analysis, and reporting, networking, and income generation
  • Experience of attracting new customers, securing new contracts, and successful bid-writing and presentation
  • Knowledge of the political and strategic environment as it relates to social care
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable experience of good financial management
  • Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and good practice

Desirable Qualifications

  • SVQ Level 8/9 in a relevant discipline or equivalent management qualification
