ILS Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Through Life Engineer to join our Customer Support & Services (CSS) organisation. As a key member of our integrated project team, you will play a crucial role in influencing product design for support and developing cost-effective support solutions for our global customers.

• Work closely with the Project Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) Manager to progress design for support objectives and exploit new and existing technologies to facilitate through life support.
• Collaborate with other functions such as Reliability, Human Factors, Training, and Technical Authors to ensure seamless support solutions.
• Apply Supportability Engineering techniques such as Level Of Repair Analysis (LORA), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), and Life Cycle Cost (LCC) analysis to drive supportability and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) standards, including Def Stan and ASD S3000L, to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Proven experience in Supportability Engineering, with a track record in applying techniques such as LORA, MTA, and LCC analysis.
• Strong understanding of ILS standards, including Def Stan and ASD S3000L.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic design environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
