**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Trader to join our commercial team at Frontier Agriculture. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our farmer customers, promoting and developing our business, products, and services.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of our products and services, including grain markets and management strategies.
  • Promote and manage our business, products, and services to existing and new customers.
  • Purchase grain, oilseeds, and pulses from our farmer customers, agreeing terms for grain storage and handling services as required.
  • Advise and sell seed, fertilizers, and other inputs and services to farmer customers, identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with experienced commercial managers, developing commercial understanding alongside technical knowledge.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues to identify opportunities with new customers and develop relationships with existing customers, supporting a joint working approach.
  • Actively engage in prospecting customers for Frontier Agriculture.

**Requirements**

  • Strong interest in the agricultural sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen and awareness.
  • Ability to build outstanding professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A high level of initiative with strong planning and organizational skills.
  • The personal ambition, tenacity, and resilience to succeed in a sales role.
  • FACTS qualification (would be an advantage but not essential).
