Majestic Wine Aylesbury is seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Retail Trainee Manager. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in driving sales performance and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

As a Retail Trainee Manager, you will support your Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, optimising KPI performance, and maintaining high operational standards. You will also support more junior team members to excel and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support your Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences and optimise KPI performance.
  • Support more junior team members to excel and reach their full potential.
  • Take accountability and pride in the physical appearance and maintenance of your store.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, processes, and complete mandatory training.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and service.
  • Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to drive improvements.
  • Prioritisation and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive when working alone and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • WSET 2 Qualification is essential, with a willingness to work towards WSET 3 Qualification.
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
