We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Support Worker to join our client's support package in Worthing. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our client, who requires complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities- Administer medication and assist with daily living tasks
- Provide personal care and support with mobility and handling
- Assist with gastrostomy care and PEG feeding
- Support our client in the community and with light housework
- Assist with administrative duties and maintain accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- At least 6 months of complex care experience, including dealing with seizures, PEG feed, and administering medication
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required
- Commitment to long-term care and a person-centred approach
- Willingness to be trained to CQC standards
- Competitive hourly rate of £16.15 for daytime shifts and £19.23 for waking nights
- Company pension scheme and enhanced bank holiday payments
- Annual leave paid at 5.6 weeks per annum, based on contracted hours
- Full support and supervision from Regional Care Lead and local HCD Community Nurse Assessor
